La Paz City

La Paz city is located in the northwest region of Bolivia with an extension of 133.985 Km2 and 1.900.786 inhabitants, it is considered the highest capital in the world because it is at 3.640 meters above the sea level. 

It is the central government's headquarters and the first city of the country for its political and economic importance, besides the most cosmopolitan. La Paz city has an interesting geographical variety that goes from the stateliness of the Andes Mountain range, (its extensive highland and valleys) to the subtropical areas of “Los Yungas”, chaining a diversity of very varied tourist attractiveness. 

March is characterized to have cool temperature. Coldest months are from June to August.
